VM System used for the Evaluation of the Executables
From this page you can download the virtual machine that we are going to use in order to evaluate the executables. This VM needs the Sun Virtual Box in order to be used. Sun Virtual Box is free (GPL) and you can download it from here for a wide variety of operation systems.
The virtual machine that we provide uses an Ubuntu 9.10 operating system. You can freely experiment with it in order to find out if it contains all the necessary packages that your executabe needs.
The following procedure is not mandatory but is highly recommended:
1) Download Sun Virtual Box 4.0.2 for you operating system from here.
2) Download our VM from here.
3) Open this VM with Sun Virtual Box and log in using "lshtc" as a user name and password.
4) Experiment with the VM and test your executables.
5) If you need something more (for example an extra package) inform us during your code submission so that we can add it during our tests.
